| About Us |
The Dance Diamond is located at 445 Route 17M in Middletown New York. We offer classes for everyone ages 3 to adult. Our regular class options include Ballet, Jazz, Tap, African, Hip-Hop, Step, Lyrical, Dance Improvisation, and Pilates. Local schools and the community can look to The Dance Diamond for performances, and consulting for all dance related events and activities such as Sweet 16’s, Quinceanera's, and first wedding dance choreography. Private Instruction is always available. Students of The Dance Diamond have taken class with Knicks City Dancers, Jamal Simms, Geo from Iconic, and Frank Hatchett - just to name a few. As a Studio, we regularly attend classes and workshops in the dance capital of the world New York City at Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway and The Ailey School (The official school of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater). They have participated in many community based events including the Tsunami Relief, Blue Berry Festival, Hannafords St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, And 1 Basketball Tournaments, Relay for Life and The Annual Breast Cancer show hosted by The Dance Diamond each year. Some of their National and International performances include Nassau Bahamas, Walt Disney World, Carnival Cruise Ship Celebration, and for the past 7 years Six Flags Great Adventures in Jackson NJ. The competition team 1/2 a Karat represents the studio well by bringing home many first place trophies including the most recent from Dance Xplosion. The Dance Diamond provides a friendly, challenging and encouraging atmosphere for all dancers. At The Dance Diamond "Where everything points to dance!" each dancer builds strength, stamina ,new friendships, and forever lasting memories with their new extended family. |
